Detection Kit for IgM/IgG Antibody to  Human Brucella (GICA)

The kit is used to qualitatively detect human Brucella IgM and IgG antibodies in vitro. It is used as an aid in the diagnosis of human Brucella.

Brucella (HBS) is an intracellular Gram-negative bacterium that has no flagella, does not form spores, generally has no capsule, does not produce external toxins, and has a strong endotoxin. The cell membrane of Brucella is a three-layer structure, the outermost membrane contains lipopolysaccharide (LPS), protein and phospholipid layers. The incidence was higher in pastoral areas than in rural areas, and higher in rural areas than in urban areas. Humans and animals have been infected in more than 170 countries and regions. After human infection with brucella, the main clinical manifestations of acute stage are fever, hyperhidrosis, fatigue, arthritis and orchitis.

Advantages
  • Rapid: Results in 15-20 minutes.
  •  Simple and convenient:No complex operation process and special instruments.
  • Intuitive results:The detection strip is visible to the naked eye.
  • Diagnosis: Simultaneous detection of IgM and IgG antibodies is beneficial to assist in the diagnosis and differentiation of present infections.
  • Reduce missed detection: Simultaneous IgM and IgG antibody tests are 10% more sensitive than IgG tests.
  • Therapeutic drug reference: The detection rate of IgM antibody was compared with that of culture method (Golden criteria).
