KBC-120M Automated blood culture system adopts the principle of color production and colorimetric method that is mainstream in the market, and is the same technology as the French bioMérieux culture system.

By monitoring the metabolism of microorganisms to produce CO2 to detect bacteria, when CO2 is generated, the color of the sensor at the bottom of the culture bottle containing the sample changes, from blue to yellow, and the software judges the result through multiple algorithms, and the system prompts with the corresponding color icon, sound and panel color light alarm.
