Syphilis, commonly known as bayberry sores or willow diseases, is a chronic infectious disease caused by Treponema pallidum (TP). It is mainly transmitted through sexual intercourse, and a very small number of patients transmit it through kissing, breastfeeding, or receiving daily items that cause infectious damage to the patient. It can be transmitted from the mother to the fetus. After the illness, the course of the disease is long, with early invasion of the reproductive organs and skin, and late invasion of various organs throughout the body, accompanied by a variety of symptoms and signs. The lesion can almost affect all organs throughout the body.
